1. Where do you see yourself in five years?

My current objective is to continue growing in the field of communication. I really enjoy leading teams and making decisions. I would like to lead a company, as my skills, aptitudes, and passions are oriented towards this area. In five years, I would like to work for an international company that offers the possibility for continued growth.

2. Why me among other candidates?

I believe I stand out among other candidates for several reasons. Throughout my career, I have consistently stepped out of my comfort zone, living in various places that have allowed me to grow and learn professionally. This diverse experience, combined with the theoretical knowledge I have acquired in my degree and master's program, has equipped me with practical skills that enable me to effectively demonstrate my leadership and decision-making abilities.

Additionally, my background in different hotel typologies and categories has given me a unique perspective and a proven track record of delivering results. I am passionate about this industry, and I am dedicated to fostering collaboration and a positive work environment. I am confident that my adaptability, strong communication skills, and commitment to continuous growth make me a valuable asset to your team.

3. How do I combat stress?

In my years of professional experience I have learned that in order to combat stress, there are two points that are fundamental:

The first one is a correct daily organisation of the department. To do this, I usually use tools that set tasks, dates and the person who will work on them, such as the Gantt chart. In addition, I consider it very important to introduce contingency management as another task to facilitate the correct planning, control and execution of the department.

On the other hand, I consider it very important to have knowledge of emotional management, since in times of stress we cannot allow nerves, uncomfortable situations or bad moments to dominate us.

4. What has been my greatest professional achievement?

My greatest professional achievement has been leading a team of 10 people across three departments: bell staff, The Level, and guest experience. In terms of leadership, I successfully guided this diverse team to work collaboratively towards common goals. Regarding communication, I ensured that all team members were aligned with our objectives, fostering an open environment where everyone felt valued. From a management perspective, I implemented all Meliá brand standards in two hotels that previously had no existing standards, which required careful planning and execution. This implementation culminated in achieving the set business objectives.

Additionally, I take great pride in the positive feedback and thanks I have received throughout my career, from both colleagues and satisfied customers. These acknowledgments reflect my commitment to customer service and highlight my ability to create memorable experiences for guests. This achievement not only reinforced my belief in the power of teamwork and effective management but also strengthened my passion for continuous improvement in my career.
